Description
Wurlitzer 7045 Tube Amplifier. This amp has an interesting history. It was rebuilt and slighly modded by a local technician about 25 years ago. It was then placed into a Leslie cabinet (not Wurlitzer), where it was used in a studio/practice facility. I purchased the Leslie and used it very very sparingly. I then removed this amplifier and it has been in basement storage ever since. The tech is himself a great Hammond player and recently saw this amp and recalled how it used to "scream". The amp is complete apart from one missing tube - the smaller 12ax7 tube which I used in my other Leslie. As it has been such a long time since I plugged it in (over a decade), I am listing this amp asfor repair. That being said, there is no visible indiciation that once cleaned and lightly serviced the amp wouldn't work as it did when pulled 15 years ago. This is a great starting point for any kind of custom build or replacement of an original 7045 wurly amp. Please check out all of the pics. Amp shell has seen some better days, but the patina looks pretty good imo.
