Description
Up for sale here is this rare vintage RCA MI-12180 tube amplifier. This normally uses a 5U4G rectifier, four 6V6GT output tubes, and a 6SL7GT tube, but the tubes are not included, sorry. This is in fairly good physical condition with moderate to heavy overall wear. It has some rust on and around the transformer bases, and the can capacitor has some rubber cement or something similar around the base--you'll want to clean that up. Under the chassis it is fairly clean and looks mostly original. There are two wires that are taped off--they appear to be the power switch wires, so this may need minor rewiring as well. This has a power cord attached to it, but no other accessories. There is no bottom cover or top cover/cage. This is untested and I am guessing it will need the usual recap/rebuild. It will be an amazing amp once it's done. This is sold as non-working due to age . Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $50. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more amplifiers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
