It is apparent that the original owner looked after his/her early audio equipment and/or stored it properly. Item is free from any loose particles inside it's original metal housing and retains it's original cloth leads as shown in multiple pictures above. Item also is free from any non original drilled holes, major modifications, etc. This Western Electric transformer has it's factory original markings, which identify it's 1959 date.
