Here's something vintage and quite rare! A 1950's The Pentron Corporation Play-Record Vacuum Tube Amplifier. This item is being sold in as-is, a-pictured condition. Cosmetically, and certainly for their age, this is a nice looking amplifier. The front metal face is fairly clean. No dents and only very minor scratches. Metal cabinet is also free of dents but there is a bit of rust a along the grill area. I took the cover off to give it a blast of compressed air and took a picture. Tubes appear to be in good shape. Some rust to the bottom metal chassis. This item is being sold untested. I have NOT plugged this in and likely has not been powered on in a long time. I do have a variac but I'm not going to try it on this item due to the condition of the plug. It is very, very crispy with lot's of exposed wire parts. Will need to be replaced. Probably just best if I remove it (which is what I did to another model I'm also selling. Was just too crispy when I was rolling it up). I think this is a stereo amp given that the RCA leads have a red and white wire. But I don't know for sure. NOTE: I have 2 of these. They are near identical, same model. This listing is for the one pictured unit. There are no returns or exchanges and certainly NO partial refunds after the sale.
