A TRIODE-TYPE TAYLOR TRANSMITTING TUBE #TZ-40, NEW-OLD-STOCK, (RE-BOXED) Vintage high-quality transmitting triode, which can have audio applications. It has good filaments, for when I slowly dialed up their voltage towards their 7.5 volt rating, there was an orange glow, as would be seen in a good tube. Unlike receiving tubes, I have no way of actually testing this transmitting tube. So, given the filaments, excellent getter and overall physical condition, it is being sold "as-is", meaning untested in an actual functioning circuit or on a tester, but most likely a good tube.
