For sale is a wonderful preamp. The Sound Valves VTP-100 is also known as the Dynaco PAS-3 Series II preamp. This was produced by Harry Klaus of Sound Valves in Columbus Ohio in the early/mid 1990s. These are very sought after and extremely rare. There were two versions (Black and Chrome). This is the Chrome version. I have a second one in Black that matches a pair of amps I recently purchased. There was another manufacturer of a Dynaco PAS-3 Series II at the time called Panor. The Sound Valves version is much better in my opinion and included higher grade components during manufacturing. The Panor is good, but this one is truly special. This preamp is in near mint condition and working flawlessly with a nice complement of six (6) National 12AX7 tubes that sound really nice. The preamp has a ~10 second warm up period so the light is red when powered on, but then turns green when ready to use. The amp is packaged in the factory box with the original foam inserts. That box will be packaged inside an outer box for extra protection. IEC power cable is also included. Shipping is via FedEx Ground and includes full insurance.
