Tubes not included, Runs a 5Y3 rectifier, a 12AX7 driver and two EL84's for output. This is a.......... SINGLE ENDED 6BQ5 EL84 ADMIRAL STEREO SE TUBE AMPLIFIER PROJECT, Kind of like the Magnavox 8601 amplifier. I found this amplifier and matched a case up to it. Cut a nice piece of 400 non magnetic stainless steel for a front panel for the unit. I fitted the amplifier to the case, I added a power switch but haven't wired it. I even put a little badge on the front of the case. This is a project amplifier that will need repairs. It will need the inputs and outputs wired on the back of the unit, And the power switch will need wired. Somebody has been tinkering in this amplifier and has a few things screwed up, So you'll have some repairs to do. I measured the output transformers and they had even DCR. And The power looks like a nice hefty power for this unit. But make no mistake, This is a project amplifier that you will need experience for or have a tech at the ready. So please do not buy this unit unless you understand that this is just a cool home brew project. That being said, I think this could turn out to be such a cool little SE amplifier that you could enjoy for years to come..... By the way, If you're asking why am I not finishing it?
