Roland Bolt-30 Hybrid Tube Guitar Combo Amp Used Description This is a used BOLT-30, Roland's only tube guitar amp and a masterpiece. It is a hybrid tube amp with a solid-state pre-tube and a vacuum tube power section. It uses a 12AX7 type triode as the phase converter and two 7591A power tubes. It boasts a power output of 30 watts (R.M.S.), which is not considered to be a built-in power amplifier, with mellow distortion, deep sustain, and bright, clean sound. The overdrive and normal channels feature 4 volumes. It shows its ability on small stages and in studios. Output: 30W R.M.S. All pots and jacks have been cleaned with contact revival agent, and there is no galling or poor contact. All input/output jacks and remote jacks are in good working order. However, the LOW GAIN of the inputs is lower than the HI level, but we do not know if this is due to specifications or a malfunction. The LINE OUT jack on the rear panel has not been tested as we do not have the device to connect to it. The saran net was torn, so it was replaced with an agricultural net instead. The manufacturer's emblem is missing. There was rust on the operation panel and metal parts, so a rust converter has been partially applied. There are tears in the tolex and stains on the exterior. One of the power tubes is original RCA, but the other is new electro-harmonix. The size of the electro-harmonix tube is too large to fit the original retainer that holds the tube in place, but the socket is tight enough that it will not come out easily. If you are concerned about this, we recommend that you replace the retainer yourself. Also, although there are power tubes of different manufacturers mixed in, there are no major problems with the current operation. If you are concerned about the pair of tubes, please replace them by yourself.
