Description
Up for sale is my Rogue Cronus Magnum III tube integrated amplifier with upgraded capacitors/resistors and the MM/MC phono stage option. It also comes standard with an ultralinear/triode switch. The amplifier has been used to power Graham Chartwell LS6 and Quad ESL 57 speakers, both to marvelous results and with no mechanical issues of any kind. Included with the sale are the following tubes, which I purchased approximately 15 months ago: Replacement quartet of Tung-Sol KT120s Matched pair of 1958 Sylvania Platinum Grade 12AU7s Matched pair of JAN-GE 12AU7s 1960s Vintage Raytheon 5751 Windmill Getter NOS for central preamp tube position Matched pair of Tung-Sol 12AX7s Note: switching out the stock Tung-Sol 12AU7 for the Raytheon in the center (preamp) tube position was a revelation and showed me that the amplifier responds exceptionally well to tube rolling. I'm also including an older Mullard 12AU7/ECC82. Although not pictured, the owner's manual and a power cord will be included. The reason for selling is because I'm moving to a more expensive solid state amplifier.
