Selling a very nice pair of 1940s Northern Electric monobloc 6L6 cinema/Audio amplifiers. Model numbers on both amps are R4045C and serial numbers 1865 and 1989.... Northern Electric was the Canadian branch of the Western Electric company and the two sites shared many design patents before they official split in the late 1960's. These amps have huge transformers and a very nice quality of audio tone! Cosmetically the amps show normal wear for the age. This includes paint wear, scratches, corrosion or other defects. Mechanically Both amps have been bench tested through a pair of Jensen A12 speakers which are not included.... They both work with no issues. . They feature the original capacitors and as such should be serviced before regular use. Sold as is with no returns. They are currently in their original state which requires the use of Field Coil speakers. You will need to modify these with a choke or resistor and capacitor to use with modern permanent magnet speakers. Schematic posted on the listing. These will need to be setup by a tech for home use.
