National 6SH7 NOS X 5 For QUAD II Forty Amplifiers Superb! DESCRIPTION The 6SH7 tube is used as the input tube for the QUAD II Forty amplifiers designed by Andy Grove of AudioNote. This revision of the classic QUAD - II power amp gained a lot of power and drive over the original. The input tube has the largest effect on sound in an amp, so why not get the best tube for that spot? The National plant in Japan was a Mullard daughter plant using all the same materials and tooling as any other Mullard plant. It made excellent tubes and probably the best version of the 6SH7 tube. These five tubes will probably last the rest of your life. CONDITION National 6SH7 NOS X 5 are new in original boxes and sleeve. Tubes test STRONG AS NEW on calibrated TV7 at 73/65/68/72/75, where 43 is the minimum good value. 68=100%.
