This is a premium single-ended Class-A stereo hi-fi vacuum tube amplifier. Hand built in Florida USA using all high-quality components. ******* The amplifier in this listing is built to order, however I try to have a completed unit in stock and ready to ship. If the unit is not in stock, the maximum lead-time to ship is 10 days from time of order. Thank you! A NOS (new old stock) 6N1P-EV driver tube will be included with the amp. POWER TUBES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Several cost options are available for the power tubes, I can help you decide, please contact me. The amplifier uses automatic-bias, no periodic adjustments are necessary. The mode of operation is switchable between triode and UL (ultralinear) by way of a rocker switch on the top panel. The power supply uses low-noise solid state diode rectification with MOSFET ripple filter for a ultra-quiet black background and features a 60 second soft-start circuit that brings up the power supply voltage slowly, allowing the tube heaters warm-up time before full voltage is applied. The output transformers are oversized 20W custom designed units weighing over 5 lbs. each, rated ~50H@1kHz-1V for deep rich bass response. The amplifier will accept the following driver tubes: 6N1P 6922 7308 6N23P 6BQ7 & 12AT7(with heater jumper change on driver board) A great option for this amp would a bluetooth/wifi streaming DAC receiver. This would allow for switching between signals from CD player, TV, phono or other source, and wireless streaming from your smartphone or computer to the amplifier. Do not touch the exposed vacuum tubes while the amplifier power switch is on. It is also normal for the transformers and top plate of the amplifier to get quite warm during normal operation. The circuitry contained within the amplifier operates at high voltages. Do not remove the bottom cover of the amplifier. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. The amplifier will be shipped without the driver tube installed.
