Original, studio-issued, 27x41 1-sheet theatrical movie poster from the 1963 Toho “King Kong vs. Godzilla”, directed by Ishiro Honda (“Godzilla”; “Rodan”; “Varan”; “Gigantis, the Fire Monster”; “Mothra”; “Atragon”; “The War of the Gargantuas”) and starring Tadao Takashima and Kenji Sahara. This unrestored folded poster with bright, vibrant colors is in good/very good condition with additional fold lines across the poster just below the yellow bar at the top of the poster, down the right side border and across the bottom of the poster just above the “In Color”. There is a small stain spot in the white background above the letter ‘M’ in “The Two Mightiest…”; a small stain spot at the bottom below the “A Universal Release”; staple marks in the four corner areas; a single staple mark on Godzilla’s stomach just above the center fold line; an about 1/8” hole with a tiny bit of paper loss on one of Godzilla’s spines just below the center fold line; an about 1 ½” right side border tear just above the center fold line with a tiny bit of paper loss on the creasing by the tear; a few staple marks in the ‘G’ of the word ‘Godzilla’ in the title “King Kong vs. Godzilla”; about 1/8” bit of fold wear paper loss on the bottom fold line intersection on the letter ‘G’ in ‘Kong’.
