Up for sale is an Original 1978 U.S. re-release 1-Sheet (27' x 41' inches) Movie Poster for GODZILLA VS. COSMIC MONSTER (GODZILLA VS. BIONIC MONSTER). Gojira Tai Mekagojira, original title and released in Japan in 1974, released in the U.S. in 1977 as Godzilla vs. Bionic Monster and re-titled as Godzilla vs. Cosmic Monster, and released in other English-speaking countries as "Godzilla vs. Mechanical Godzilla"). Note that Universal, producers of The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman threatened to sue because of the word "bionic" in the U.S. title. The title was quickly changed to Godzilla vs. Cosmic Monster during it's first release run and remained the same when it was re-released in 1978. Starring: Masaaki Daimon, Kazuya Aoyama, Reiko Tajima, Akihiko Hirata and directed by Jun Fukuda. Japanese Toho kaiju battling rubbery monsters sci-fi thriller!
