We put to test and -Absolutely no static sound. -Clean sound on both channels. -All tubes glow as usual including the lamp that ligts up the logo. -All input tested except phono. Very very quiet performing. No hum. -Some of the cool features include, different ohms settings 4/8/16 ohms like McIntosh amplifiers, and dual mono tone controls ie separate bass/treble controls for each side. -Comes with all original knobs+cabinet+feet. For tubes, not sure if they are original or replaced. -Considering our not being into tube, we just listed it as parts but we are quite confident that it's in "Plug n play" condition. -Please see detail close up tube and unit pics for your evaluation. -The front side is excellent to near mint condition but the chassis has some light discoloration/rust but nothing major. -We can take off the tubes and put them into a separate box for safe transportation.
