It will need a full rebuild for optimal operation. Unit Operation: This preamp works: meaning it passes a signal with out the presence of hum. I only tested on Aux input with a CD player. I did not test phono input. Sound is clear and all tone controls appear to work. I did clean them with deoxit. PLEASE NOTE: The stereo/mono selection switch is nearly Frozen and not easy to turn. It is not frozen but will need to be taken apart cleaned and lubricated Tubes: All of the 12ax7s were changed by the prior owner. The 7247s remain the original fisher:telefunken. I did not test any tubes for strength. I don’t know if the coupling caps are replacements.
