I am selling my FISHER X-101-C integrated amplifier. The amplifier is in working condition. It is also in excellent cosmetic condition. - The unit was serviced in February of 2024 at Northridge Electronics in Southern California (Simi Valley). All functions were checked; two power recepticales were replaced with vintage NOS parts; on/off/volume switch was replaced with a modern more reliable switch. Capacitors were NOT replaced when it was serviced earlier this year. The technician told me that the 3 multi-segment capacitors should be replaced with proper ones and two unnecessary capacitors from an earlier repair should be removed. I elected not to have the work done because the unit was working fine. I am currently using the amp with a Pioneer AFT-12 tube tuner that is also up for auction this week. The amp & tuner sound great together (no issues). Nevertheless, I recommend to have the capacitors replaced in the near future (the capacitor kit for the X-101-C costs $125; it is available at https://hayseedhamfest.com/products/fisher-x-101-c). The integrated amplifier comes with three pairs of custom made RCA male/female adapters. Two banana plug adapter pairs are also included so that speaker wire can more easily be attached. Finally, an original service manual and a catalogue from 1963 are included. The unit will be double-boxed for shipping and insured. The shipping cost estimate is conservative because I am still using the amp. I will issue a partial shipping cost refund if the actual shipping cost is less than ebay's estimate. - I only ship to an address in the USA.
