Description
Miller Audio LLC Introduces the Perfect Speaker Terminal Block for All Dynaco Tube Amplifiers, Heath-Kit W-4, Marantz 8B & Citation II Amplifiers ! This new terminal block fits the ST-70 Stereo Amplifier, Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV Mono-Block amplifiers and the SCA-35 Integrated amp - no holes to drill - just bolt it right on using the included fasteners. Sorry, but these will not fit the ST-35 amplifier. Photos are of our development ST-70 chassis, along with installations on a Mark III and Mark IV amplifiers. We've recently discovered that these terminal blocks are the same size as the terminal strip used on Heath-Kit W-4 Mono-Block, Marantz 8B, and Harmon Kardon Citation II Amplifiers- and the list keeps growing These terminal blocks are more rugged and heavier-duty parts than the cheap terminal strip Dynaco used. These terminal blocks are not prone to strip the screw terminal threads as is common with terminal strips. Terminal blocks upgrade the interconnection point on the amps to be more like Heath-Kit or McIntosh, who regularly used terminal blocks on their amplifiers. The Terminal Block provides protection to the Fuse and the Power Switch on all models, with the terminal block extending past both the Power Switch and the Fuse body. The individual terminals are separated by a molded-in barrier, aiding in the prevention of stray wire strands from shorting across speaker terminals, a great improvement over the stock terminal strip and something not addressed when using those big, chunky plastic imported binding posts. The terminal block accepts 6/32 sized screw-in banana jack adapters as depicted in the photos, or you can also use cheap imported banana jack adapters sold else where on eBay. This listing is for one pair (two) of terminal Blocks, 4 screws & keep-nuts. This kit will update one ST-70 or SCA-35 amplifier, or 2, Mark II, III, IV or Heath-Kit W-4 mono-block amplifiers, one Marantz 8B amplifier or one H-K Citation II amplifier.
