Description

Here is a rare Dynakit Stereo 35 tube power amp with its desirable original early cloth covered lead transformers. Restored to specs with: New Japan Nichicon and USA Vishay filter caps mounted under the chassis (all wiring lifted off the old multi-filter cap FP can, so the old doesn't interfere); New USA made IC and Vishay signal caps; And new heavy duty oversized power supply rectifier diodes. Then I installed used select tested and matched: RCA input tubes; and Soviet 6n14n (6BQ5) fat bottle output tubes. This mini Dynaco amp sounds great! Big USA iron, heavy. Play tested for a week, never an issue. Little power house sounds like a 6L6 amp, clear and loud if needed, with that rich tube sound. Amazingly it rocks my Klipsch Cornwalls and my Boston A70's. Very good cosmetics, though it has not been detailed yet. Plug and play, ready for more decades of service. New owner will be pleased with this one.
