Description

Up for sale is a vintage Ampex 3200 tape duplicator head unit amplifier. This was some very top of the line equipment back in the day and the quality of components speaks to that with UTC transformers and Weston 862 VU meters. Appears to be complete minus the tubes and has lots of great parts if you are looking to repurpose. Unfortunately, it is untested, I don't have the means of hooking this up, but needles in the VU move freely and appears to be very clean. I was going to repurpose it as a kind of 2 channel center section for recording and monitoring, but I have too many projects and too little time. Just the face of the same model as this sold not too long ago on eBay for $350, so that's where I'll start the bidding. Feel free to ask any questions, will do my best to help.
