VINTAGE 1970's BLUE SPARKLE DIAMOND TUCK AND ROLL PLUSH PRB 1000 S TUBE AMPLIFIER HEAD 4 RCA 6L6 POWER TUBES THE AUCTION IS JUST FOR THE HEAD NO SPEAKER CABINET INCLUDED !!! This is an original PLUSH amp built in about 1970. This amp is in superior condition it is one of the cleanest amps I have ever seen, period and its over 40 years old !!! With no exceptions it appears to me to be all original. If you like Minty tube amps this might be for you !!! So this is from late 60's to early 70's according to my research, it has 4 - 6L6 power tubes and some pre amp tubes. I tested the tubes and they are all satisfactory or better. I would expect the speakers are original and have never been re coned. I see no signs that this has ever been worked on I have not removed the chassis so I cannot verify all the transformers or caps. Repairs /cleaning and adjustment may be needed perhaps caps, but it sounds good, you decide. This was only used a hand full of times since it was new. It was purchased from the original owner and they said it was used for some dances as a accordion amp. This does have the original black metal grill that covers the tube chassis cavity in the back of head, it just wasn't in any Photos. If you have questions I would be happy to respond. Awesome amp !!!
