If you want a solid piece of music history, this is what you have been looking for. All aspects of this are as they were in 1959. The 34 watt tube amp produces very clean sound and fills a room with a warm sound. Five speakers produce a stereophonic sound. From Radio Museum: The Motorola Model SH18N is an AC operated 6 Tube portable stereo Phono Amplifier and a 4 Speed Automatic Record Changer. Uses chassis HS-765. Cabinet color is Brown. This model has Qty(1) 6"x9" PM speaker, Qty(2) 5.25" PM speakers and Qty(2) 4" PM speakers. Uses Record Changer VM30RC. Has separate bass channel that drives the 6"x9" speaker. I used this player in my wife's antique store for about six months. The sound filled the store. The changer works flawlessly and I've stacked up to ten 7" discs without a failed change-over. This is a quite heavy unit. Built to last. They had a different idea of "portable" in the 50's & 60's. Local pick is available and is recommended - but not required. UPS isn't afraid to toss a carton into a truck.
